Fillet salmon and seal in a plastic bag. Place in the coolant fluid of a water-cooled fission reactor. Remove control rods until the water boils. Remove fish.
Do not forget to replace the control rods.

There is a suspicious lack of recipes online for balsamic caramelized apples, w/ or w/out bacon. CLEARLY THEY ARE TRYING TO KEEP THIS FROM US.
However, there are recipes for caramelized apples that involve balsamic vinegar, and I suspect I can manage the bacon bit ... *plots experiments*

My salmon had a balsamic/honey/Dijon mustard glaze. I feel certain those apples would have been a delightful addition to my meal.

Ooo. I have apples (if they haven't gone off). I have bacon. I have balsamic vinegar. I have sugar. Hmm.

I have apples, sugar and balsamic vinegar, but NO BACON. Obviously I will be remedying this as soon as possible.
